Direct Monthly Online Film Festival also known as DMOFF is an International online film festival designed for filmmakers to promote their work through an online platform. 

DIRECT MONTHLY ONLINE FILM FESTIVAL is a monthly international event. We accept short films, documentaries, animations, music videos, and web series of any genre. Each month our judges, watch, review and rate the submitted films. The

We are unable to provide a specific review for not-selected films. 

 

OUR MISSION

We at DMOFF bring out the Best Short, documentaries, Music video, and web series from around the globe and promote and present it all on one single platform which is our website. 

 

CATEGORIES

  • Short Film - Short Fiction Films - Short Film - Short Fiction Films all Genre with maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Written Screenplay not applicable in the category

  • Short Film - Short Non-Fiction Films - Short Film - Short Non-Fiction Films all Genre with maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Written Screenplay not applicable in the category

  • Short Student Film - Short Fiction Film - Short Student Film - Short Fiction Films all Genre with maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Must have Student Id. Written Screenplay not applicable in the category

  • Short Student Film - Short Non-Fiction Film - Short Student Film - Short Non-Fiction Films all Genre with maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Must have Student Id. Written Screenplay not applicable in the category

  • Short Documentary Film - Short Documentary Film with a maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Written Screenplay is not applicable in the category.

  • Short Animation Film - Short Animation Film with a maximum 40-minute length including opening and closing credit. Written Screenplay is not applicable in the category.

  • Feature Film Fiction/Non-Fiction Film - Feature-Length Fiction/Non-Fiction, Documentary Films with more than 40 -minutes length including opening and closing credit written Screenplay not applicable in the category

  • LGBTQ Film - Short or Feature Length Films with LGBTQ subject issues. length is not a barrier. Written Screenplay is not applicable in the category.

  • Female Filmmaker's Film - Films written, directed, or produced by female filmmakers without any length barrier, Written Screenplay not applicable in the category.

  • Music Video - Music Video with a maximum 7-minute length including opening and closing credits.Written Screenplay not applicable in the category 

  • Web Series - All Genre Web Series without any length barrier. Serie must have more than one episode. for the festival purpose, we need only one episode, the submitter can submit the whole series in one link only. Written Screenplay is not applicable in the category.

  • New Normal (Covid-19 Pandemic)- Films about Covid-19, filmed during and post covid-19 pandemic about how pandemics affect normal life.

  • Only Trailer/Teaser Film - Submitters who don't want to include their full film can submit the trailer or treasure of the film. Written Screenplay is not applicable in the category.

  • Short Films - Critique Review - all short films submitted into the Critique Review category will receive a 350 - 400 word review (depends upon the length of the film), Don't use any Discount Code while submitting into this category.

  • Screenplay - Written screenplay - Unproduced Written Screenplay Only accepted in this category with 30 pages long. Don't use any Discount Code while submitting into this category.

  • Ukraine Films - With five new Awards (Best Ukraine Short Film, Best Ukraine Feature Film, Best Ukraine Female Filmmaker's Film, Best Ukraine Director, and Best Ukraine Female Director) Ukraine entries are free to enter the competition. Please note the applicants, Filmmaker must be residents of Ukraine. The film should be submitted from Ukraine. Films from other countries will be disqualified. All-length films are

RULES AND REGULATION

 

SUBMISSION 
The filmmakers/submitters can submit their films and screenplay online through our online film festival partner Filmfreeway, All genre films will be accepted. unproduced written screenplay only accepted through the screenplay  (Written Screenplay) Category only. Films can be submitted in more than one category, Filmmaker/Submitters submit more than one film in one or different categories. We have no rule related to the production year or production budget means the Filmmaker/Submitter can submit the film produced and completed in any year.

 

SELECTED FILMS

All selected films get the notification through email only. The Festival has not published a full-length film without the submitter's permission We send notification through email to all filmmakers, if the filmmaker decides not to show the film online we placed the film into a private screening, all private films are equally qualified for all the awards except Top 10 of the week Competition and other Audiences Choice Award (only for online public screening films).  A filmmaker can request to change or replace the online link of the full film with the trailer of the film anytime or vice versa.

Online Screening Duration :

All selected films will be available on the website forever. The filmmaker (Submitter) can request to remove or replace the film link with the trailer or vice-versa anytime they want.

WRITTEN SCREENPLAY

We accept written screenplay only through screenplay (written screenplay only). Please don't submit to any other category. It can disqualify the entry. All selected screenplays will get a comment of 200-350 words about the screenplay from the festival. the comment is about the screenplay and will help to improve the screenplay, festival decisions are final and no arguments will be entertained regarding the negative comment, all screenplay must be written in the English language. all selected screenplays will require full screenplay softcopy in pdf form. only synopsis and treatment are not acceptable and entry can be disqualified from the competition.

Every winner filmmaker will get a Digital Certificate and one wavier code per film for their next month's film submission (Screenplay or Critique Review category not qualified through the code). For trophies, the filmmaker/submitter can contact us at info@dmoffest.com

SUBTITLE

We accept all language films. films other than the English language must have English subtitles. films other than English without subtitles can disqualify the entry.  

 

NOTIFICATIONS
After a film has been selected for the competition, the filmmaker is notified via email only. The selected films will be published on the festival website. All films which are selected/nominated for the competition or Festival will be informed only by emails & listed on the festival website. No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non-selected films. The decision of the selection committee will be final.

 

CRITIQUE REVIEW CATEGORY

All films submitted in the Critique Review categories are directly entered into the core festival competition and equally treated for the competition, Once the competition starts our review writing team reviews the film. Reviews will be emailed to the submitter on the registered email. We'll be published it online without the submitter's permission. All non-English foreign language films must have English subtitles. Don't use any kind of Discount Code while submitting into this category, it'll lead to disqualification of the entry or the entry category will be edited into another category.

TOP 10 FILMS OF THE WEEK

We will announce the Top 10 films of the week every Tuesday. On the basis of top-rated films on the website, there will be one competition. This competition is only for public listed films. We will present Certificates to the highest-rated Film and badges to all nine top-rated films. This competition is based on the most liked, viewed, and shared films of the month.

 

OTHER FILM COMPETITION

Besides the core festival competition, DMOFF runs serval online film competitions for officially selected films of the DMOFF these competitions are free for entry.  Each Competition is pre-announced. Festival Management has all the rights to qualify or disqualify any of the films from the competition section. We'll present Certificates to the winners of the Competitions. 

 

FEES 
Each entry will be accompanied by non-refundable fees The entry fee and services fee is not refundable for films that did not get selected. Entries will not be processed without an entry fee payment. The submitter will be responsible for all shipping fees. The Festival will not provide any courier charges.

 

COPYRIGHTS 
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (full film, trailer) can be uploaded/embed on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the copyrights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows DMOFF to create a page for their film without infringing the copyright of any kind of form. Filmmakers can make a request to remove the film link at any time. Violation of copyrights can disqualify the film at any point in the competition. 

 

FESTIVAL COMMITTEE 
The decision of the Festival Committee is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The decision of jury members will be final and accepted by all no inquiries or arguments will be entertained The organizer's reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes. Festival Director reserves the right to make all decisions about the festival.

UKRAINE ENTRIES

Ukraine entries are free to enter in the competition. Please note the applicants, Filmmaker must be residents of Ukraine. The film should be submitted from Ukraine. Films from other countries will be disqualified.

 

DISCLAIMER  
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival and make available the print for screening. Under NO circumstance, the authorities of the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival will not entertain or be answerable to anyone else apart from the applicant.
