SYNOPSIS : This film starts at an art workshop in a refugee camp in Dohuk, northern Iraq, where a group of Yazidi women are learning to paint their self-portraits. The purpose of the workshop is to give these women, all of whom have escaped ISIS captivity, a way of expressing their grief and sharing their stories with the wider world. The paintings go on to be displayed at the Houses of Parliament, where they spark a conversation that may lead the British government to support an education and training programme for the Yazidi women.
